As the old proverb says, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".
Well it is very much true!
And of course this is also what will happen to a group of gentle (Klement) people doing their ministerial work without any relaxation. They will become dull. And due to this, they might lose their gentleness, and effectiveness to give care with love and joy.
Having been from Cambodia, in a mission-oriented trip, the Klement backpackers needed time to relax and to enjoy the beauty of Thailand. And also to be together with the other "Klement Thailand" who were not able to go to the orphanage visitation.
The Klement backpackers did go to the famous Siam Park City (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siam_Park_City), one of Bangkok's tourist destination. Siam Park City is one of a kind venue for recreation, combining the fun and enjoyment of swimming and the thrill of its world class rides. As their promotion says: The land of fun and eternal happiness, located in Minburi District, Siam Park City includes a water park featuring a man-made sea with artificial waves and towering water slides, an amusement park containing different kinds of world class rides, and a theme park emphasizing education and entertainment. Besides, it has several other attractions like children’s playgrounds and African adventure that cannot be missed.
Wow! Great isn't it?
And of course all that are in this promotion are really true, as the tired and rugged missionaries enjoyed their bonding and leisure time at this very amusing place!
However, one of the strong foundation and leader of the host Klement Thailand Chapter, Mr. Edgar Petallo, of EPETALLO'S Blog, was not able to come because of some unexpected personal tragedies. We surely had more fun if he had come.
Anyway, still the Klement backpackers enjoyed everything inside the "park city".
First, when everybody had been gathered in the entrance during the arrival, the group instantaneously made some poses in front of the camera operated by such talented Klement photographers, Mr. Mr. John Noe Surmillon, Mr. Regin Reyno, and Mr. Ephraim Arriesgado.

They made so many hilarious , funny and the famous "Klement Jump" poses when having picture takings all throughout the stay in the park.
The Klement had a lot of happy moments there at Siam Park. With state -of- the- art thrill rides added with the largest wave pool in the world, surely these tired guys had the chance to be relaxed and be freed from stress from the long travel.
And not only that, Siam Park City has offered them also with delectable delicacies, all you can eat! Isn't it so great?
However, what really made this event so fun and memorable was the nice warm feeling at home with each others' company.
However, it was not only Siam Park City that gave them happiness and enjoyment; even with simple times shared together anywhere during the travel , could already be a very rewarding moment for each of this guys, for being together is already a bliss for them. That's Klement! Making anything fun is easy!
And while I was writing and putting some pictures in this blog, I suddenly felt the longing to be with these backpackers once again to beat the challenges of ministering to others and at the same time to bond together...I hope we may meet together again with more other Klements.
The memories we've shared are priceless....
To God be the glory!!
