Thailand and Cambodia 2012

by Ephraim Arriesgado and Regin Reyno

All participants from the Philippines have arrived in Suvarnabhumi Airport
Bangkok, Thailand
Klement - this is the name of our batch who graduated in Mountain View College, Valencia City, Bukidnon on March 2009 with the degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Today, these young professionals are scattered all over the world working and doing the things they love. We have these words always in our hearts, "with love, with joy, we care."
Backpacking - budget, independent, international travel. For us, traveling does not require a vast reservoir of wealth and resources rather it needs a wise and thoughtful use of time and finances. We are now embracing this concept of traveling.
Ministry - it means serving and ministering to the needs of others, and joyfully sharing the love of Jesus to all the people of the world. Our class song still rings, "With Your compassion, we give care."

The Klement Backpacking and Ministry 2012: Thailand and Cambodia started last July 23 and ended on August 2, 2012. We chose the theme, "11 Days, 2 Countries, 1 Mission".

"The world's greatest need is consecrated effort for the salvation of souls."-Ellen G. White

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” -Mark Twain
