We were on the road for 11 days-- from July 23 to August 2, 2012. We explored 2 beautiful countries-- Thailand and Cambodia. And we had just 1 mission-- to share the love of Jesus Christ to the people of these countries and to minister to the needs of the children at Wat Preah Yesu Orphanage in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Here is our itinerary:
July 23 (Day 1):
-- Arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport
July 24 (Day 2):
-- Singing band at Bangkok Adventist Hospital
-- Giving of books at the Victory Monument
-- Walking tour at the Grand Palace and Khao San Road
-- Slept at Baan Hua Lamphong Guesthouse
July 25 (Day 3):
-- Travel from Bangkok to Aranyaprathet, Thailand and from Poipet to Siem Reap, Cambodia
-- Night market and Pub Street at Siem Reap, Cambodia
July 26 (Day 4):
-- Sunrise at Angkor Wat
-- One-day tour around the temples of Angkor (Bayon, Ta Prohm)
July 27 (Day 5):
-- Biking at Siem Reap, Cambodia
-- Stayed at Wat Preah Yesu Orphanage in Siem Reap, Cambodia
July 28 (Day 6):
-- Sabbath services and mini-concert at Siem Reap Seventh-day Adventist Church
-- A.Y. program and giving of food and slippers at Wat Preah Yesu Orphanage
July 29 (Day 7):
-- Travel from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Bangkok, Thailand
July 30 (Day 8):
-- Fun, fun, fun at Siam Park City
-- Eat all you can at Mukata
July 31 (Day 9):
-- Siam Paragon, Central World, Pantip Plaza, Pratunam
-- Post-backpacking and ministry sharing time and reflection at Nasa Vegas Hotel
August 1 (Day 10):
-- Departure of DMIA Group
August 2 (Day 11):
-- Departure of NAIA Group
